Lead Experience Design Researcher
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Advocate for the customer across the teams and across partner levels; this includes supporting and validating big-picture to ground-level implementation without missing a beat.
- Lead all aspects of evaluative and generative user experience research through qualitative methodologies including but not limited to testing prototypes through user interviews, coordinating in-depth usability testing, mining user analytics, etc.
- Complete small- to medium-sized qualitative studies with customers of our digital products by collecting requirements, planning, designing, crafting, launching the studies, and reporting on findings.
- Analyze feedback and build substantial findings to drive the project forward in a fast-paced, agile environment
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work alongside multi-functional teams who work in a human-centered design model, focusing on the customer and providing feedback that will aid the business, UX, design, and other groups in crafting optimized products.
- Align with product teams to understand needs, requirements, and strategies.
- Strategize with the rest of the Experience Design team to ensure research findings are shared and incorporated into other initiatives while proactively using creative problem-solving skills.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Work with multi-functional product teams to manage the research roadmap to include exploration and de-risking of new features, capabilities, or enhancements for the Hilton mobile apps
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Five (5) years of professional experience in Research or a related field
- Two (2) years of user experience (UX) research experience
- Experience in research moderation/facilitation
- Experience in questionnaire design/development
- Ability to travel 10 - 20%
It would be useful if you have:
- Seven (7) years of professional experience in Research or a related field
- Experience with web and mobile platforms
- Understanding of accessibility standards
