HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Document and accomplish the plan to implement Ransomware solution for the PEP project
  • Perform lifecycle management for cloud databases to include upgrades, adjust capacity, and maintain infrastructure as code
  • Work with application teams to automate version control for their databases
  • On-call support for database engine(s) of expertise

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Work with cloud team to integrate within our cloud providers to complete the data requirements for all projects
  • Work with other DevOps team members to keep infrastructure in the DBA team's repository and any other CI/CD integrations

What potential projects you will take ownership of:

  • PEP Ransomware
  • PEP Serverless
  • PEP Full service
  • PEP Load testing

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • Three (3) years of work experience using leading database engines (e.g. MySQL, Couchbase/NoSQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus six (6)+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus twelve (12)+ years of Technology related experience 
  • Seven (7)+ years of professional experience in Technology or a related field
  • You are a certified AWS engineer or certified MySQL DBA
  • Experience in cloud databases preferably MySQL
