The Hilton corporate internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real-world professional experience in a global company. We intend the program to develop the business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns.
The internship will be on-site in our Rio de Janeiro, Brazil office for a period of 6 months.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Analyze Hotels and Corporate financial information
- Partner important projects for our Finance Shared Services Office
- Help post daily journal entries
- Help with the preparation of periodical financial reports
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes
- Work in reconciling activities of account receivables and payables, banks or taxes
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Experience in a group environment
- Collaborate with teammates and build relationships across all levels
- Collaborate across teams to creatively solve challenges
- Project management skills with an experience staying calm and, handling multiple concurrent demands, and prioritizing responsibilities
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Available to work on-site at our corporate office in Rio de Janeiro (4.5 hours per day, 5 days per week Monday - Friday)
It would be useful if you have:
- Internship or work experience in the hospitality industry
- Experience with data analysis or using data to make decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, complex data)
- Bilingual in Portuguese and English and fluently read, write and speak both languages
