***This role is based in Bogotá, Colombia***

As an intern, you will provide daily operational support to the hotel openings and transitions team in the CALA region, focusing on assisting the quality control team with expense report management, handling information for the Smart/Flex Renovations project, preparing Hilton Supply Management (HSM) checklists for hotels with branded items, validating vendors, and preparing reports and analysis as needed. You will work closely with the Owner Relations, Quality Control, Openings, and Brand teams to ensure hotels progress as planned, from pre-opening to post-opening stabilization, ensuring compliance with standards and an excellent guest experience.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Coordinate QA preparation for openings and conversions: follow up on pre-opening actions, manage risks, and verify closings before go live, aligned with CALA QA–Openings materials.
  • Collect, validate, and present expense reports related to opening/QA visits according to corporate policies
  • Maintain traceability, receipts, and approvals. Maintain a simplified procedure for QA expenses (per diem, transportation, miscellaneous) and audit a sample monthly to ensure compliance.
  • Support everything related to the Smart Flex Renovations program, alongside the Sr. Director, for preparation, launch, and follow-up.
  • Complete comprehensive work between BCR reports and the last renewal date of each property.
  • Monitor indicators that determine eligibility for extensions (QA, Stay Experience, incentives) and escalate exceptions to OR/BPS leadership.
  • Update renewal information in BOSS 2.0 (PIP/FRCM records), ensuring accuracy and a single active/expired record per property.
  • Align checklist progress with pre-opening milestones (licenses, staffing, training, mock stays, readiness QA).
  • Validate documentation for evaluating new suppliers and send to HSM for approval.
  • Perform all tasks that, by the nature of the position, are assigned by the Director of Owner Relations / Openings CALA.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Collaborate in the creation of HSM-focused Service / Full Service Opening Checklist for assigned properties: schedule work sessions, request evidence, update status, and coordinate approvals.
  • Stay up to date with program updates and communicate clear and verified guidelines to partners in CALA.
  • Collaborate in everything required for preparing AOC – Americas Owner Conference and everything related to the general owner database.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Create and maintain weekly dashboards covering the openings pipeline, checklist progress, completion of QA actions, Smart Flex status (FRCM/PIP), and expense metrics.
  • Develop and update support materials (one-pagers, FAQs) as a single, reliable source for properties and internal teams.

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Pursuing studies in Human Resources, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Communicate in English: Intermediate / English 30%
