What are we looking for?

 

Key to the success of the role will be the ability to collaborate at all levels, both internally and with external stakeholders, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.  Awareness of projects and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines are considered essential elements of this role. 

 

The post holder will possess the capacity to effectively contribute towards a strong customer-focused ethos whilst supporting the need for maintenance of a robust control environment.  The interim manager HAFS Performance Governance will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, the ability to accurately interpret key business drivers within the Shared Services arena and to recommend appropriate action where necessary. They will also support the Centre of Excellence in the interpretation and application of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), providing input to support development, refinement, and ongoing monitoring to ensure that agreed service delivery metrics are met/exceeded.

 

Required:

            Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, using own initiative whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment, being able to handle multiple demands and appropriately prioritise responsibilities.

            Strong numeracy and analytical skills with some understanding of finance and accounting environments.

            Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others, as well as support development in this area with other team members.

            Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel, and with the ability to quickly learn new programmes or features when required.

            Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritise and implement all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with core strategic goals.

            Experience communicating and negotiating with all levels of management and external partners.

 

Preferred:

 

            Good project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met.

            Capacity to perceive the impact and implications of decisions and activities on other parts of the organisation.

 

Required Qualifications

            Proficient in business intelligence / analytics software, in particular Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.

            Strong analytical and problem solving skills

            Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies, and systems

            Strong verbal and written communication capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

            Previous experience of working within a Shared Services / Centre of Excellence / Business Process Outsourcing environment.

            Hospitality industry experience. 

            Proficient in business intelligence / analytics software, in particular Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
