The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, knowledge, and skills:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (able to write, speak, and translate fluently in Spanish) is essential for the role.
- Must have at least two (2) years of human resource management experience.
- Three years of learning and development/facilitation experience is required.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Previous hotel and union experience is preferred.
Pay range $75,000 to $95,000 per year

What will I be doing?
As a Training & Team Member Relations Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing and managing training initiatives and related programming in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Develop, plan, coordinate and implement training programs in accordance with current standards including, but not limited to, harassment-free workplace, diversity, new team member orientation, departmental training, communication, leadership, service and train-the-trainer training.
- Lead Quality initiatives through analyzing trends for improvement and plan and conduct meetings with department managers, trainers and team members to review performance, and develop action plans, specific training needs, and initiatives to recognize achievement
Review, analyze and assess hotel training needs, initiatives and programs to meet hotel objectives and KPI’s through development of, or research of training solutions and make recommendations to address specific hotel needs.
- Organize and execute all team member meetings to drive awareness and engagement
- Plan and conduct meetings with department managers, trainers and team members to review performance trends, to develop action plans and to recognize achievement
- Track, input, maintain and audit all individual team member training records utilizing designated systems and programs
- Oversee and monitor all departmental training programs including, but not limited to alcohol awareness, food safety, job skills checklist, educational assistance, etc.
- Develop and distribute the annual training calendar, compile and distribute periodic reports and measurements related to training activity and return on investment.
- Ensuring adherence of California guidance, develop and manage leadership development education that is aligned with CA Wage/Hour, California Paid Sick Leave, ADA awareness/compliance, Leave of Absence for effective management
- Establish and maintain companywide annual compliance training to remain in line with budget, and forecasting
- Lead and educate leaders on engagement and recognition opportunities, to ensure an engaged workforce resulting in high performing Global Team Member Survey Results
- Manage the annual performance management process for Exempt and Non-Exempt Non-Union team members
- Ensure Hilton’s Brand Personality committee is achieving guest, team member, and community expectations
- Develops, coordinates, implements and measures corporate and hotel-specific team member relations and training programs and initiatives to ensure positive team member morale and performance and a well-trained, quality service-oriented staff, covering all shifts, inclusive of 3rd shift (overnight).
- Develops action plans, organizes, coordinates and disseminates information on various functions/activities of the Employee Relations program, including the team member awards program.
- Manage team member relations programs, activities and initiatives to include, but not limited to, picnics, holiday functions, health fairs, award banquets, and special events
