HR Coordinator - HRX
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Assist Team Members with general inquiries/questions through various mediums (phone, email, walk-ins)
- Review and coordinate the new hire, transfer, termination, and Team Member personnel change processes to ensure accordance with established policies, procedures, and timeliness
- Support position management and payroll processes (processing of merit increases, promotions, transfers, and coordination with Payroll on retro-pay)
- Support processes for employment verification requests, employment eligibility requests, Team Member relocation requests, and other requests
- Manage customer questions and cases via Hilton’s case management tool by triaging cases, researching Team Member questions, and responding effectively and efficiently to ensure complete Team Member satisfaction
How you will collaborate with others:
- Interact with Team Members and other work groups to ensure appropriate documentation is obtained and retained in compliance with FMLA and ADA regulations
- Liaise with vendors on background checks, Form I-9s, workers' compensation claims, and other processes as needed
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation, as well as coordinate and manage all onboarding activities (processing job offers, processing/escalation of background checks) for new and transferring Team Members within the Corporate business unit
- Coordinate unemployment claims including capturing required documentation and submitting it to the third-party administrator(s), and scheduling unemployment hearings with key management and HR personnel
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Six (6) months of work experience in a corporate environment
- Two (2) years of experience working in Microsoft Office Programs
It would be useful if you have:
- Three (3) years of experience working within an HR environment with knowledge of local, state, and federal HR-related laws (i.e., FMLA)
- One (1) year experience working with Oracle Human Capital Management Tools or similar (i.e.,Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.)
