A Hostess serving Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is always working on behalf of our guests and working with other team members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Previous guest service experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment
- A warm, gracious personality with a polished and professional appearance
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in handling guest enquiries and reservations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and seating flow
- Accountable, reliable, and able to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining luxury service standards
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience in an all day dining or high-volume luxury restaurant setting
- Familiarity with reservation management systems
- Previous international experience
- Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
