Host/Hostess, La Luce - Signia by Hilton Orlando
Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is looking for a Host/Hostess to join their dynamic Food and Beverage team for their Fine-Dining restaurant called "La Luce"! This one-of-a-kind property boasts 12 different dining options, over 1000 guest rooms, 231,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, with 3 ballrooms, 34 meeting rooms, 2 dedicated boardrooms, and unique outdoor spaces.
The ideal candidate will ideally hold comparable experience, as a Host/Hostess in Fine dining restaurants, has full availability with schedules and impeccable communication and guest service skills. Knowledge of the system called OpenTable and Excel is highly preferred.
Shift Pattern: candidates will need to have open availability over weekdays, weekends and holidays, with shifts starting as early as 11AM and ending as late as 10.15PM.
Pay Rate: $18.21 per hour.

What will I be doing?
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
