General Manager - Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island
What are we looking for?
As the General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, you will demonstrate your extensive knowledge of luxury resorts. The ideal candidate will excel in leadership, with a strong emphasis on owner relations, commercial and operational excellence, luxury guest experiences, and team member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you should have current or previous experience as a General Manager at a luxury resort.
A General Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Proven track record as a luxury resort General Manager, specializing in managing high-end, exclusive destinations, ideally with multi-market and multi-culture experience.
- Demonstrated ability to uphold luxury standards while embracing the island culture.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners and contractors – must be highly visible.
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and delivering innovative commercial opportunities that drive profitability, particularly within luxury resort environments, while enhancing the guest experience.
- Exceptional people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to inspire and bring a team together on a journey while instilling the Hilton culture and values.
- Exceptional stakeholder/owner relations experience
- Ability to show resilience, judgement, and leadership.
- Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property.
- In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector, with a focus on high-end travel experiences.
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
- Being Bi-lingual, including English is Mandatory and French language is highly beneficial.
