General Manager - Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Owner relations, Commercial, Operations, F&B, Guest experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will have a proven track record as a General Manager in luxury hotels.
A General Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- An Established luxury General Manager with Hilton experience ideally.
- Deep understanding of Tier 1 markets and experienced in luxury and luxury trade affiliations e.g. Virtuoso
- Deliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability across F&D and Rooms.
- Meticulous attention will be crucial
- Strong ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, contractors, corporates and local community – must be highly visible as well as be the face of Waldorf Astoria Rome Cavalieri, including Industry and Market Associations and represent the owners at public events
- Extensive experience in large meeting and conference hotels
- Experience in Master Plan management / Hotel opening or repositioning
- Capability to assume responsibility and confidently lead hotel owners
- Strong operational expertise with a focus on people and leadership—as General Manager must lead by example and maintain a visible presence across the hotel.
- Proven ability to inspire and retain talent, cultivate a luxury service mindset, and unite the team around a shared vision while embedding Hilton’s culture and values at every level.
- Deliver innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability
- Ability to show resilience, judgement and leadership
- Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar sized property
- Hotel Union experience
- Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
- Italian language mandatory
