General Manager - LXR by Hilton, Imperial Hotel, Gold Coast
The Property
Set to debut as Australia’s first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in early 2027, this iconic luxury hotel is located on the Southport Spit on Queensland’s Gold Coast, commanding one of the region’s most prestigious waterfront positions. Formerly known as Palazzo Versace and currently operating as The Imperial Hotel, the property will reopen following a comprehensive renovation under the LXR brand.
The hotel will feature 222 guestrooms, 4 F&B outlets and event spaces showcasing a blend of grand neoclassical architecture and Italian‑inspired interiors, alongside LXR’s signature bespoke service and design‑led luxury experience. Key highlights include direct access to the Gold Coast Broadwater, proximity to Marina Mirage and major lifestyle attractions, and a strong focus on authentic, place‑driven guest experiences.
As a flagship opening for Hilton’s luxury portfolio in Australia, the property offers the opportunity to be part of a high‑profile pre‑opening environment, delivering a truly one‑of‑a‑kind luxury hospitality experience within one of Australia’s premier leisure destinations.
