Supervises and performs the duties of the Property Operations/Engineering staff to maintain the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Assists Director/Manager in training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating department staff. Ensures staff compliance with all safety/loss prevention standards and regulations. More specific:

  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and instruct others - boiler samples, drywall repairs, change electric outlets, troubleshooting procedures, plumbing repairs,
  • Solve complex maintenance problems and maintaining the day-to-day operations with rapid decision making when on shift with little to no Supervision 
  • Maintain and inspect kitchen equipment, boilers, pumps, piping, HVAC, life and safety systems
  • Conduct and inspect room PM's in accordance with PM program 
  • Conduct and inspect equipment PM's in accordance with PM program
  • Administrator for Synergy
  • Must understand Safelock - to lead team on day-to-day operations
  • Understand and train on emergency procedures
  • Certification required - HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, must know how to use Lock out, Tag out and being able to explain that process
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other departments to ensure the highest standards of the property are maintained
  • Will train and lead others
