The Bankers Alley Hotel, Nashville’s only Hilton-managed property, is a unique, art-filled destination located in the heart of downtown. Situated in Bankers Alley, our hotel is within walking distance of key attractions, including Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, and the Ryman Auditorium.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Front Office Manager to lead our guest service team and make a lasting first impression on our guests. This key role will involve overseeing front office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and directly reporting to the General Manager. The Front Office Manager will play an essential part in maintaining the high standards of hospitality and service that define our hotel
What will I be doing?
As Front Office Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Lead and motivate the front office team, including guest service agents.
- Maintain a welcoming and efficient front desk environment.
- Manage all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Ensure compliance with Company standards
- Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns
- Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue
- Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events
Complete audit procedures, as needed
Report directly to the General Manager, providing insights and updates on front office operations
- Recruit, interview and train team members

What are we looking for?
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum Years of Experience:1 + years of hotel front office leadership experience is required
- Additional Requirements: Adaptable to schedule changes
- Able to train staff and problem resolution
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Hilton Hotel experience
Proficiency in OnQ PMS system
