Fitness/Yoga Instructor
Help our guests feel their best in a setting that feels like paradise. We’re seeking a Fitness & Yoga Instructor to deliver inspiring classes, thoughtful 1:1 sessions, and mindful experiences that reflect Waldorf Astoria’s luxury standards and the island’s natural rhythm.
What you’ll do
Lead daily group classes (Vinyasa/Hatha/Restorative, mobility, mat Pilates, HIIT/functional) and personal training sessions.
Offer sunrise/sunset practices, beach meditations, and breathwork; design weekly wellness schedules aligned to occupancy.
Conduct fitness assessments, goal setting, and safe program design for diverse abilities and ages.
Partner with Spa on holistic programs (recovery, sleep, stress, posture), cross-promote treatments and retail where appropriate.
Maintain immaculate studios and beach setups; manage equipment PARs and cleanliness in line with brand and HACCP standards.
Support resort activations—family wellness hours, staff well-being days, and special events.
What you’ll bring
Recognised Yoga certification (e.g., Yoga Alliance RYT 200+); additional Pilates/fitness or PT certification preferred.
2+ years’ experience in luxury hospitality or premium studio environments.
Confident teaching across levels; excellent cueing, adjustments, and guest care.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, contraindications, and safe progression.
Positive, calm presence with polished communication in English; additional languages a plus.
Comfortable with remote island living, flexible scheduling, and outdoor sessions (heat, sand, tide).
Nice to have
Breathwork/meditation certifications, prenatal/postnatal, reformer Pilates, aqua fitness.
Experience creating multi-day wellness retreats or private in-villa sessions.
Social content skills (short class clips/tips) to support on-island engagement.
