Director Pipeline and Platform Engineering
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Own, approve, drive forward, and deliver next-generation cloud architecture and automation solutions.
- Define and oversee Hilton’s API management strategy.
- Develop budgets, resource requirements, and plans to realize Hilton’s key objectives.
- Lead 10+ Pipeline and Platform engineers.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and build powerful CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and software engineering teams to design and build highly scalable and resilient application environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement monitoring capabilities.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to protect Hilton assets.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- CI/CD Pipeline Innovations
- Container Scalability Innovations
- API Management
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of work experience in Technology.
- Five (5) years managing projects, people, and budgets.
- Three (3) years of experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure required with a preference for AWS)
- Three (3) years of experience working with containerized applications and deployment using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Travel up to 10%
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology-related field.
- Three (3) years DevSecOps.
- Three (3) years working with CI tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
- Three (3) years of Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience supporting 7x24, critically important systems
- Experience defining and documenting standards
- Experience implementing lifecycle management processes

The annual salary range for this role is $135,000-$185,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company. #LI-REMOTE
