Director of Revenue Management - Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas
Experience
- Must have a minimum of (2+) years Director of Revenue Management experience within a hotel environment
- Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge/appreciation of Hilton Revenue Management philosophies and initiatives.
- Comprehension of technical and managerial applications of Reservation, Sales, and Revenue Systems including OnQ, Hotelligence, IDeaS, Delphi. Knowledge of Hilton Revenue Management Systems is strongly desired.
- Understanding of group sales process and group sales demands
- Strategic approach towards maximizing (room) revenue through use of historical data and analysis of the marketplace
- Able to develop and implement effective plans to maximize market rooms revenue
- Able to develop and manage hotel budget for the current and future years
- Analytical approach to problem solving utilizing data to make conclusions
- Able to analyze financial statements, revenue reports, and market data
- Able to develop and deliver training to executives, co-managers, and employees
- Able to develop and deliver effective presentations
- Ensure that all hotels strategies conform to Brand Philosophies and company future goals
- Certified in the use of OnQ RMS, OnQ PMS and other related systems or an ability to quickly learn and utilize these systems

- Able to make decisions and recommendations based on facts and experience/knowledge
- Ability to present ideas in a well-organized manner
- Effective time management, communication and presentation skills
- Understands the hotels business mix needs and the “brand”
- Effectively develop, implement, monitor and control sales strategies
- Ability to understand the short term and long term issues from the perspective of Senior Leadership
- Understands the impact of room revenue on the hotel sales and overall profitability
