The Director of Residences will be entrusted with overseeing all facets of the residential experience, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction for our discerning homeowners, while driving operational excellence and long-term strategic value.


What will I be doing?

The Director of Residences is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the residential operations at Waldorf Astoria Punta Cacique. This role requires a results-driven professional with a strong background in luxury residential environments, operational excellence, and stakeholder relationship management. The individual will ensure the highest standards of service delivery, maintain property value, and contribute to the long-term strategic development of the residential offering. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·       Manage and oversee all aspects of residential operations, ensuring efficient procedures and consistent service standards.

·       Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction through personalized service, timely response to requests, and proactive engagement.

·       Oversee staffing, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.

·       Monitor and control departmental budgets, operating costs, vendor contracts, and capital expenditures.

·       Set operational objectives and monitor KPIs to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

·       Develop and implement standard operating procedures and service protocols tailored to the needs of high-net-worth residents.

·       Coordinate with internal hotel departments, homeowners, and external vendors to ensure smooth operation and service consistency.

·       Maintain compliance with health, safety, fire, and Hilton brand standards and local regulations.

·       Support strategic initiatives related to owner relations, residential experience, and commercial growth opportunities.

·       Prepare operational and financial reports and present performance updates to senior leadership as required.

What are we looking for?

A Director of Residences serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within luxury residential management, branded residences, or luxury hotels operations.
  • Proven track record in managing high-end residential services or luxury hotels management and working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
  • Demonstrated commercial mindset with the ability to identify, assess, and implement strategic initiatives to support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and foster a culture of accountability and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational, operational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial literacy and experience in managing operating budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with owners, senior executives, and staff.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and service orientation.
  • Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, other languages skills are a plus.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Familiar with Property Management Systems
