Director, Media Activation - Acquisition
***This role is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA or Addison, TX***
As a Director of Media Activation - Acquisition on the Americas Marketing team (which ladders into the broader Commercials Services team), you will work alongside teams such as revenue management, sales, and analytics which serve as the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Media Activation team reporting to the Senior Director, Media Activation, you will manage the deployment of a large discretionary budget for Hilton Advance, geared at driving brand health, bookings, consideration, and awareness for our over 6,500 hotels across the US, Canada, and Caribbean and Latin America.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Collaborate with channel leads to build integrated media strategies and plans that deliver awareness, consideration, and bookings
- Provide leadership support to the paid search, Metasearch and affiliate functions while also being a subject matter expert and coach to fellow team members across the Region and the Marketing & Loyalty organization
- Work with the Americas Marketing leadership team to deliver revenue for all Americas hotels, managed and franchised, and contribute to the performance narrative delivered to partners
How you will collaborate with others:
- Coordinate with partners to affect prioritization across measurement and technology, ensuring performance of campaigns across digital platforms
- Align with the agency partner(s) and Global Media to develop integrated media plans that have an impact on the brand health and the business
- Lead agency teams by providing and upholding clear goals, standards and desired outcomes for Hilton media strategy
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Oversee the daily team operations and respective budgets and ensure high quality output while fostering an environment of test and learns to refine acquisition media performance
- Present results and educate key stakeholders on current performance while also developing the 2–5-year roadmap for our paid customer acquisition strategy.
- Analyze the performance of media initiatives, and provide optimization recommendations to improve results and ROI utilizing findings from Marketing Mix Modeling outputs
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of people management experience
- Five (5) years of experience leading in digital search platforms, with a focus on the future of the acquisition landscape.
- Experience using data, analytics, customer insights, and different parts of the business to make plans and implement strategies
- Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA or Addison, TX office (3 days per week in office)
- Travel 30%
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience in both agency and client side
- Hospitality or travel industry experience
- Experience working and navigating a large, matrixed organization
