This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Director, Marketing Finance on the GBCS Finance team, reporting to VP Marketing & Loyalty Finance, you will focus on providing key financial support to the Marketing & Loyalty Organization.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • The Director, Marketing Finance will lead a team to deliver insightful financial reports and will provide financial guidance to ensure the marketing organization manages their budget with discipline and accountability. You will lead and influence the annual budget and monthly forecast processes and will ensure our financial systems reflect the current marketing investment strategy.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with marketing partners and build a close partnership with the marketing strategy and planning team.
  • Become a member and contributor to the GBCS Finance Leadership Team
  • Provide coaching and training to direct reports, share experience, and delegate tasks

What deliverables you will take ownership of:

  • Identify more efficient ways of working, streamlining day-to-day marketing tasks.
  • Lead annual global marketing budget for marketing function, providing clear timescales and guidance throughout
  • Lead monthly forecast process, mitigating budget risks, identifying investment opportunities and allowing for flexibility throughout the year.
  • Become familiar with the marketing strategy and performance goals and find ways to contribute to marketing performance.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of related experience in Financial Analysis
  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience partnering with Corporate Marketing teams
