Director, Hilton Honors Experiences & Event Activation
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

What your day-to-day will be like:
- Develop and implement Hilton Honors Experiences Platform strategy aligned with our marketing and loyalty objectives
- Oversee the development, strategy, planning and execution of events for internal and external partners throughout the year
- Skillfully lead in managing engaging, cost-efficient and impactful events and consumer activations
- Spend time developing an understanding of the business, our partners, the competitive landscape, and the target audience to deliver experiences that establish understanding, belief, and brand loyalty
- Craft and produce activations for VIP events with partners in music, entertainment, sports, culinary, and other events
- Listen to team member needs to develop a full strategy for the guest experience, surrounding the event marketing objectives and messaging
- Handle the production resources and schedule for assigned events, based on internal needs
- Lead external agencies and provide direction as needed
- Day-to-day administration and coordinating logistical aspects of events and programs including venue selection, budgeting, overseeing work back schedules, placing orders, BEO review, monitoring vendors, travel planning, facilitating guests, run of show, leading registration, tracking RSVPs, ticketing, event recaps, answering questions, resolving issues and identifying important milestone decisions throughout the event schedule
How you will collaborate with others:
- You will work alongside internal partners in the execution of the participant experience design, contributing to all aspects of the guest’s experience while partnering with Marketing, Brands, Content, Media, PR/Comms, Owner Relations, Sales, and other internal and external partners
- Lead exploration, evaluation and procurement of new Hilton Honors Experiences through internal and external partners
- Collaborate and partner with global and regional leaders and partners with ongoing updates and communication
- Build relationships with senior leadership, team members and agency partners
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Hilton Honors Experiences Platform strategy, management and execution
- End-to-end development, planning and execution for various consumer marketing events and partner activations

You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Five (5) years of experience in event planning and event management, consumer marketing, experiential marketing, or partnerships
- Experience partnering with agencies on events or working for an agency
- Travel up to 25-50%
- Hybrid role based out of McLean, VA (three days in office a week)
It would be useful if you have:
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar degree)
- Three (3) years of team management experience
- Five (5) years of project management experience
- Experience with analytics and a comprehensive understanding of marketing, partnerships, and event planning
