Director, Global Pricing
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Collaborate with Product, Project, Technology, and vendor partners to develop requirements and solutions for prioritized pricing capabilities
- Recommend and develop solutions for prioritized pricing capabilities within a complex cross-functional structure
- Partner with activation, revenue management, and sales teams to deploy pricing capabilities to the hotels
- Seek strategic alignment of pricing strategy across regions (APAC, EMEA, and AMER) through collaboration with regional revenue and pricing teams
- Provide frequent verbal and written updates to senior leadership on strategic plans, risk and opportunity assessments, and performance evaluation of pricing initiatives.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with Commercial, Customer Experience, Technology, and 3rd party vendors to define, prioritize, build, and deploy innovations for Pricing capabilities.
- Collaborate with global Commercial and Revenue Management leaders to shape the vision and strategy for evolution of Revenue Management
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Evolving pricing capabilities for Group, Meetings, & Events (GM&E) and B2B segments, including corporate negotiated business
- Drive the year-to-year value extraction from existing B2B and GM&E pricing capabilities
- Driving parity of pricing for all consumers of simple groups, meetings & events products (room blocks, meeting packages, amenities) to drive shift to self-service direct booking versus property selling
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience
- Seven (7) years of experience in Pricing, Product, Revenue Management, Analytics, Sales or other commercial functions
- Experience collaborating and thriving in a highly cross-functional environment
- Proven experience solving complex pricing or revenue management problems through analytical and organizational skills
- Travel up to 20%
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience in group Revenue Management (hospitality or airline industries)
- Product management experience
