What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Ability to lead collaborative efforts of team members and other resources throughout the Hilton organization, possibly including internal resources, external resources, and other constituent groups as appropriate with the aim of furthering Company goals
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong financial competence to make strategic and tactical decisions, including the ability to read, understand, and interpret P&L statements
- Capability to handle change, resolve issues, and ensure a collaborative environment within teams while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity
- Persuasive communicator to influence new concepts and practices
- Ability to provide effective on-the-job training to hotel Team Members on current policies and procedures
- Budget development and leadership skills to include tracking expenses against commitments, setting priorities for funding, and developing annual budgets
- Highly developed leadership qualities and skills in the management of personnel, budget, forecasting, inter-departmental liaison, and communication
- Detailed knowledge of hotel industry in general with specific knowledge of restaurant development procedures and clear understanding of purpose and function of hotel departments, especially Food & Beverage
- Ability to build, write, and develop menus, and recipe costing
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years in hospitality (F&B, Catering, or similar field)
- Three (3) years of F&B experience opening new hotels or restaurants
- Travel up to 60% (North American travel)
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Multi-unit oversight or prior Regional F&B experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
