Director, Data Governance
What are we looking for?
We believe the success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Ability to lead and work well with multiple priorities, and effectively handle concurrent demands to prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to formulate clear data democratization strategy, present and gain support
- Solid understanding of the latest Data Governance principles, supporting technology and implementation models
- Ability to effectively integrate, contribute and overlap with other functions including Enterprise Arch & Data, Analytics, Cloud, InfoSec, DPO
- Ability to formulate objectives with clear business value and demonstrate progress along the way
- Ability to drive enthusiasm around the value of Data Governance for the organization
- Ability to navigate across complex interpersonal levels, influence leaders and their decisions
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Twelve (12) years of work experience in Technology or a related field
- Five (5) years of advanced knowledge of data governance
- Five (5) years of data analytics, reporting, and interpretation experience to support an enterprise across multiple business functions
- Seven (7) years of Business Analytics/Intelligence and measurement experience
- Three (3) years of Management Experience effectively leading reporting teams
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
- Fourteen (14) + years of work experience in Technology or related field
- Nine (9) + years of Business Analytics/Intelligence and measurement experience
- Five (5) + years of Management Experience effectively leading reporting teams
