Director, Commercial Analytics
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Drive global solutions to key projects and deliverables for the organization’s revenue, commercial, forecast and distribution business teams
- Lead the development and communications of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for enterprise rooms RevPAR, ADR and Occupancy
- Lead recurring executive commercial reporting, including but not limited to weekly performance reviews, quarterly key performance indicators and CEO quarterly business review
- Support global & regional commercial action plans to continually improve financial and operational performance.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with senior leadership of commercial, revenue & pricing, distribution, finance forecast driving commercial priorities from an analytics and data perspective
- Educate others on how to use insights from analytics to drive business decisions
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Lead all aspects of the implementation of global Enterprise Forecast Management system harnessing modern technology stack and close partnership with Data Science
- Liaise between data technology and business teams requirements for further advancements in BI reporting across the commercial data space
- Establish and launch robust commercial metrics reporting
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of work experience
- Five (5) years of experience in a quantitative analysis and data storytelling role
- Three (3) years in revenue management or similar pricing analytics function
- Experience working with advanced analytics, using analytic tools, benchmarking competitive analyses, and business scenario modeling
- History of managing a team in Analytics or related field
- Travel up to 25% of the time
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MA/MS Master's Degree in data science, statistics, marketing/communication or degree in a related field preferred
