HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Assist SVP Category Leader driving strategy development and execution for the Category.
- Structure ambiguous problems, identify opportunities, and formulate hypotheses to enable us to best position the Category for growth, commercial performance and guest satisfaction
- Identify, analyze, and interpret relevant data sets to answer questions about strategic direction
- Synthesize findings into recommendations for decisions with large-scale impact
- Develop business cases which justify investment in strategic brand projects and develop implementation roadmaps to enable the execution of strategic initiatives
- Build executive-ready project deliverables, presentations and documents
- Present findings verbally and in writing in a clear and in a compelling manner
- Oversee Category strategic planning process including integration of Hilton KPI/KSP/MBOs – Commercial, Marketing, PR, BPS, Communications and annual budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare executive-level Category performance presentations for owner, development, and internal meetings
- Manage enterprise activations for the category (e.g., profitability, dual brands, ESG, pet friendly, Customer Promise)
- Lead Category's Brand Integrity work (Relicensing/COO, FRCM & Aging Asset)
- Coordinate and complete logistics for Category Team meetings, Brand Planning Sessions, Category/Brand Owner OAC Council Meetings, ad-hoc owner meetings, and Bi-Annual owners and category branded conferences
How you will collaborate with others:
- Liaise with functional partners: Analytics, Customer Insights, Development, Brand Performance, Brand Standards, Hilton Supply Management, Product Experience & Prototypes, Brand Planning & Innovation, and more
- Collaborate with Global Brand Leaders, Brand Managers, and Brand Personality team members on critical projects
- Collaborate with other Brand Categories
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of professional work experience
- Three (3) years of strong project management experience
- Three (3) years of experience developing new strategies, building business cases with supporting data, gaining internal/external support in a cross-functional environment
- Three (3) years of experience driving implementation, with experience in progress towards delivery and completion
- Three (3) years of experience translating market research and identifying insights
- Willing to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
- MBA preferred, MS/MA
- Three (3) years of hospitality project management experience
- Three (3) years of experience developing annual plans, narratives, project planning, forecasts, and strategic roadmaps for large enterprises
