Director Brand Manager, Hilton Hotels & Resorts

As Director of Brand Management for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, you will be working alongside the Global Brand Leader to shape and manage one of the most iconic and highest valued brands in the hospitality industry. You will have the opportunity to lead, co-lead, plan, manage and execute against key brand KPIs, priorities and initiatives on global level and be involved with select enterprise level workstreams.
The leadership role has an important internal as well as external facing capacity. Internally, you will be partnering with all Hilton corporate, regional, and functional teams to coordinate and support teams to execute on three-year strategic brand plans and manage the day-to-day nature of the brand. Externally, you will be working with owners, owner advisory members, operators, hotel leaders, media, and 3rd party partners to position Hilton Hotels & Resorts to have segment leading appeal, performance, and unit growth.
The role reports directly to the Global Leader of Hilton Hotels & Resorts. As a brand manager, you will be responsible for analyzing brand performance, identifying insights, developing recommendations, business cases, creating strategies and plans, project managing, leading, and mobilizing the necessary resources for successful implementation.
The role requires a comfort level with a fast paced, global business environment, attention to detail, creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, high quality orientation, outstanding written and oral communication skills, an exceptional ability to develop and present information/ business cases and being an effective spokesperson for the Hilton Hotels & Resorts Brand.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Partners with the Global Brand Leader, Hilton Hotels & Resorts to develop short and long-term strategies and priorities for the brand, develops and leads project plans against these strategies by, developing clear timelines and supporting narratives, and working with functional partner groups to deliver on targets and objectives.
- Provides support in monitoring and driving performance against the top Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the brand; serves as thought partner to identify opportunities to do so.
- Proactively manages and executes day-to-day activities on all brand initiatives (i.e., development and pipeline, prototyping, brand positioning, product testing, marketing, food & beverage, owner profitability, commercial performance, field facing activities, innovation, sustainability, budget management, etc.).
- Represent the brand at important brand and milestone events (Hilton Worldwide Sales meetings, Groundbreakings, Key Brand Milestones).
- Works with Brand Operations, Owner Relations, Brand Performance Support (BPS), Relicensing Teams and Hilton University (HU) to manage brand product and service quality.
- Assists with Owner Advisory Council meetings, monitors evolving owner and brand needs as it relates to brand standards, guest experience, owner profitability; provides recommendations accordingly.
- Works with the Global Brand Leader, Development and Regional Brand Teams to review term requests, new deals, and conversion opportunities and providing brand guidance based on agreed upon brand guardrails.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Partner with regional and cross-functional leaders to execute brand plans. These leaders include teams from Development, Architecture & Construction, Design, Marketing, Operations, Commercial, Marketing, and Brand Performance Support. The goal of this partnership is to achieve performance goals.
- Partner with Brand Personality and Team Member Communications to amplify brand messages and important priorities to hotel leaders.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Lead or support select category/enterprise initiatives (i.e. Future of Full Service) and represent the brand with cross-functional work teams.
- Lead important brand initiatives designed to elevate the appeal and distinction of the brand in a way that is representative of the brand's positioning and positively impacts guest experience and hotel P&Ls.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of professional work experience
- Two (2) years of management experience
- Experience with complex projects and change management with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Willingness to travel 30% (domestic and international)
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS or MS/MA/MBA
- Eight (8) or more years of professional work experience
- Three (3) years of experience developing annual plans, corporate budgets, narratives, project planning, forecasts and strategic roadmaps for large enterprises
