As the Creative Director, you will steward and elevate the established brand vision across all creative expressions, ensuring alignment, consistency, and excellence in execution. On the Lifestyle Design team reporting to VP Lifestyle Design, you will partner deeply with interiors, brand, marketing, and other cross functional teams to translate the brand's creative standards into cohesive, high quality work across physical and digital environments. You will bring 360° design expertise, hospitality familiarity, and a hands-on mindset that supports both strategic alignment and tactical execution.
What you'll do during a typical day:
- Uphold and interpret the brand's creative vision across all touchpoints, ensuring consistent and high‑quality execution.
- Review and refine creative work elevating ideas while staying grounded in established brand strategy and visual foundations.
- Provide clear, actionable creative feedback to internal teams and agency partners.
- Maintain and evolve brand toolkits, visual systems, and guidelines to support scalable, cohesive creative output.
- Apply aesthetic judgment and cultural awareness to keep the brand contemporary, refined, and lifestyle‑driven.
- Participate directly in creative development — reviewing concepts, shaping presentations, and modeling attention to detail.
- Lead multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams simultaneously, ensuring timelines and feedback loops are well‑structured and efficient.
How you'll collaborate with others:
- Partner closely with interiors, brand, marketing, and Brand Operations teams to ensure unified creative execution.
- Serve as a key connector clarifying expectations, aligning perspectives, and helping teams understand how decisions support the brand.
- Collaborate with external agencies and creative partners, providing direction that drives cohesive and high‑quality outcomes.
- Work with interiors and operations to ensure brand integrity is upheld in guest‑facing, real‑world hospitality environments.
- Bring cross‑functional teams along through thoughtful guidance and a balanced approach to creative evolution.
Projects you'll take ownership of:
- Shepherd the ongoing development of brand systems, toolkits, and standards that support scalable execution.
- Evaluate how designs uphold the brand's strategic intent and ensure alignment across channels.
- Support long‑term brand strengthening through consistent application of visual and experiential principles.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Eight (8) years in creative leadership, design direction, or comparable roles
- Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, retail, or experience-driven brands
- Portfolio demonstrating system stewardship, collaboration, and integrated design
- Proven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary creative teams, providing hands‑on guidance and fostering creative excellence
- Adept at balancing vision with execution, including managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Travel (estimated 30%)
- NY based position (4 days in office on average)
It would be useful if you have:
- Understanding of design, branding, photography, and storytelling principles
- Experience leading creative brand building for a lifestyle or luxury category within the hotel industry

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $120,000 – $190,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
