Counsel, Operations - Greater China & Mongolia

What are we looking for?

A Counsel, Operations – GCM is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

·       Law degree from PRC.

·       Admission to China BAR.

·       Minimum 7 years of post-admission experience as a corporate / commercial lawyer, preferably with a mix of private practice and in-house experience in multinational companies.

·       Experience in managing and conducting litigation and arbitration.

·       Experience in working in cross-cultural environment.

·       Strong business acumen for sense to comply with applicable laws, company policies, and the highest standards of professional responsibility, ethics and integrity.

·       Excellent communication skills and influential skills, with ability to create and maintain strong relations across the organization and hotel management teams.

·       Generalist knowledge covering contract negotiation, litigation, Intellectual properties, and handling government investigations.

·       Able to work under pressure.

·       Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems.

·       Able to travel up to 10% of the time.

·       Prior exposure to hospitality industry or hotel operations work is preferred.
