Content Strategy Manager
What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
- Executive presence, polished presenter, and clear communicator able to distill and translate sophisticated information.
- Able to build trust and instill confidence to empower and influence others, including the executive level.
- Understand customer content needs and tailor messages to the right audience.
- Shown leader who drives multiple strategic transformation initiatives and projects simultaneously.
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills, innovation, judgment, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Ability to think conceptually, overlay appropriate decision structures and models on strategic questions, problem-solve, and work independently
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to identify message points for presentations and to actively identify appropriate opportunities to share those messages with all constituent groups.
- Demonstrated collaboration success as well as working independently.
- Ability to act as both producer and strategist, with confirmed experience in owning copywriting projects from strategy to production.
- Skills to lead with cross-functional teams to address content gaps, target audiences, prioritization of marketing needs
- Confirmed storytelling experience translating strategy into a compelling narrative, including performance data.
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- One (1) year in marketing, advertising, e-Commerce, creative writing, or public relations
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Experience working with freelancers and/or creative agencies
- One (1) year of experience running and leading a team
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
- High proficiency in PowerPoint, with experience creating content for Senior Leadership audience
