Chief Engineer - Parc 55 a Hilton Hotel

Parc 55 a Hilton Hotel is currently seeking a Chief Engineer. If you are a seasoned building engineer with high rise building experience this is the perfect opportunity to join one of the best Engineering teams in the business! At Parc 55 Hilton we have 1,024 guest rooms, 21 meeting spaces and over 30,000 square feet of event space.

This role will be responsible for assisting in overseeing and maintaining the guest rooms, public space and back of the house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and masonry to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.

Pay Rate: $82.05

Shift Pattern: AM PM Overnight

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2 years working building maintenance engineer background

• 3 years HVAC, Plumbing, electrical working knowledge

• Experience working with high rise buildings is preferred

• Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot

What will I be doing?

A Chief Engineer oversees the functionality and safety of the facility, including the physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical system/s, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations and related mechanical services in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Directs general construction and the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

• Assigns, verifies and documents the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system. Communicates with city/county/state officials to ensure the proper maintenance of permits and licenses, to coordinate required inspections and to ensure full compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards to protect the well-being of all guests and team members.

• Assists in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
