With your cocktail expertise, you know how to impress the guests of Axis Lobby & Cocktail Bar at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. You create unforgettable experiences by serving outstanding cocktails, gin & tonics, and delivering warm, engaging hospitality.
This role goes beyond bartending alone. Alongside your bar responsibilities, we expect you to actively support the operation on the floor. This includes providing table service, assisting guests, clearing tables, and working closely with the team to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience throughout the lobby and bar area.
In addition, we regularly host a LOT61 coffee pop-up. For this reason, barista skills, or the willingness to learn, are a strong plus.
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for delivering excellent overall service at Axis Lobby & Cocktail Bar and contributing to the hotel’s continued success, including prestigious recognitions such as the World Travel Awards and Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.
You are confident in creating high-quality cocktails, enjoy engaging with guests, and may even contribute your own creations to the menu—all while remaining flexible and hands-on wherever support is needed.

Besides an enthusiastic personality you are / you have;
- Experience in providing service, preferably as a bartender
- A real team player with a ‘Hands on’ mentality, also helping out on the floor
- Strong communicative skills in English
- Knowledge of beverages and cocktails
- Flexible to work, also in evenings and weekends
