Associate Portfolio Management
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Manage and categorize resource and licensing expenditures to ensure accurate tracking and strategic allocation.
- Prepare monthly journal entries to support financial reporting and SOX compliance.
- Build financial models to support investment and forecasting that enable leadership decision-making.
- Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating across teams to align financial goals with business strategy.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Attend monthly meetings with leadership throughout the Technology and Commercial Services organizations.
- Attend meetings with our entire Portfolio Management team to review capabilities and workflows.
- Attend quarterly meetings with all members of the Technology Program Management team.
What deliverables you will take ownership of:
- Monthly capital allocations of resources from departments to projects.
- Aid in the identification and classification of technology licensing cost (PO/SOWs) by project for improved financial accounting, budgeting, and project forecast.
- Review and process invoices to ensure accurate allocation to the appropriate departmental and project budgets.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Professional work experience in Technology or related field
- Work experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting.
- You are proficient with Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and other Microsoft Products.
- Located near our Dallas corporate office
- Travel up to 5%
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
- Three (3) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
- One (1) + years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, QuickBase, ServiceNow, PowerBI, or Hyperion.
