Associate Data Engineer

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

• Participate in daily stand-ups and provide status updates for your tasks.
• Work with partners to identify data required to build Machine Learning models.
• Work with lead engineers to build solutions to build data pipelines for ML applications.
• Partner with engineering leads to deliver data products.

How you will collaborate with others:

• Collaborate with platform architecture team, delivery team, cloud engineering team to deliver data products.
• Work with Data Operations team to ensure applications are supported in production.
• Work with business architecture team and domain partners to understand product specification.

What projects you will take ownership of:

• Support applications such as Forecast Models, Customer Insights Models.
• Help enhance and modernize Hilton Data Ecosystem.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Experience writing SQL queries and able to extract data from data stores
• Hands-on experience in Python programming
• Theoretical knowledge of Big Data and Distributed Computing like Spark
• Travel up to 10%
