Assistant Director of Finance - The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Hotel
What are we looking for?
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to communicate orally and verbally in English with staff and outside entities
- Ability to manage large staff
- Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts projections
- Basic understanding of complex computerized financial systems and ability to use it including manual dexterity to operate all office machines
- Knowledge of various computer programs, such as Word and Excel
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and team members concerns in a friendly and positive manner, listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer/team member and providing positive and proactive solutions
- Knowledge of Uniform System of Accounting
EDUCATION
Four-year college degree required.
EXPERIENCE
- At least two years' experience in related field required.
- Hospitality experience required.
- Must have experience directly supervising employees.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
