Analyst, Pricing Analytics
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Gather requirements with the business or key partner groups.
- Support multi-year inventory initiatives to ensure targets are hit.
- Run queries to pull data extracts, synthesize analyses, and interpret trends and variances.
- Support reoccurring business reporting including the Commercial Performance Review and Commercial sections of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR).
How you will collaborate with others:
- Regular internal team meetings and weekly meetings with partner teams to ensure all priorities are aligned and expectations are clear.
- Work with fellow team members to collaborate on new types of analysis.
- Weekly learning opportunities within the team to gain both business knowledge and enhance technical skills.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Participate in the launch of new pricing initiatives and drive the performance measurement process using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Deliver recommendations to enhance future tests.
- Be the analytics voice in multi-year pricing initiatives and support ongoing data needs in these discussions.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- One (1) year of professional experience in roles gathering requirements, developing and analyzing reports
- One (1) year of professional experience working with BI and Data Visualization Tools (Microstrategy, etc.)
- One (1) year of professional experience scripting SQL queries and automating data processes
It would be useful if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas
- One (1) year of working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling
- One (1) year functional experience in Hotel Sales, Revenue Management, or Hospitality Analytics
- One (1) year of experience in advanced analytic techniques, particularly within R or Python toolkit
