Analyst, Hilton Honors Loss Prevention & Compliance
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- Ensure hotels are properly reimbursed for hotel rewards, analyze and research reimbursement reports, critical metrics and resolve hotel reward reimbursement issues.
- Assist with multiple SOX controls, including preparing and presenting comprehensive documentation at assigned intervals, meeting tight deadlines at month and quarter end
- Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc audits of loyalty program data as required by the business, including sampling of operational workstream data, especially manual processes
- Support loyalty program compliance activities, including the proper setup and application of reward reimbursement models, taxes, resort fees, and brand/region-specific pricing
- End-of-month processing will require some nighttime hours during the days around month-end. Occasional weekend or holiday hours required when the month ends on or around a weekend or holiday.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Work with the leadership team, loyalty operations team, and multiple cross-functional teams
- Work with Hilton's tax and finance teams to determine appropriate policies for unique hotel tax situations
- Attend weekly team meetings and several quarterly department meetings.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Develop and apply methods to QA our reward stay reimbursement calculations and resolve help resolve issues
- Support audit and documentation process for monthly and quarterly compliance requirements
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- Three (3) years of professional experience in an analytical role.
- Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) understanding.
- Understanding of the basic financial concepts and terminology (calculate percentages)
- Professional experience conducting audits or other compliance activities
It would be useful if you have:
- BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in the Analytical or Management fields
- Hospitality industry experience
