デジタルマーケティング アシスタントマネージャー（日本Eコマースチーム ）/ Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing - Japan eCommerce

The Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing (eCommerce) is responsible for driving assigned hotel’s website marketing performance with the goal of improving online revenue for Rooms, Dining, Weddings, and Meetings business segments where relevant.
Pro-actively formulates, executes plans and steps of action to ensure hotel’s digital environment is optimized to drive online revenue. As an online expert of assigned hotels, communicates with them and understands their needs, building a solid relationship with stakeholders. Interfaces with hotels for their online requirements by ensuring a smooth handshake with the Digital Content team.

• Familiarity and/or capacity to quickly learn fundamental analytics relevant to eCommerce (Google Analytics is a plus)

• Self-starting, pro-active mindset, always looking for opportunity to improve and grow the hotel business

To fulfil this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years (experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is a plus)
• Minimum Years of Digital Specialist Experience: 3 years (ideally at an marketing agency)
• Language: native-level Japanese, business-level English
• Additional Requirements (i.e. - % of travel time, etc.): From time to time, you may be requested to visit Japan hotels

More Specifically, You'll Do 

• Be the Digital Marketing (eCommerce) specialist for assigned hotels, working to the established consulting method (Insights – Analysis – Recommendation)
• Understand hotel business across relevant segments through their Commercial Focus strategies
• Set a formal cadence of formal check-ins with your assigned hotels, providing them with a KPI dashboard, analysis and recommendations to optimize and drive online revenue
• Understand and utilize available channels (owned websites, third party websites, online media) to effectively retail hotels and their offerings
• Assist in executing corporate strategies and projects (eg tactical Room sales)
• Analyze performance and work with Digital Content team to identify content
• Work closely with F&B Marketing Team to leverage their expertise and initiatives for the benefit of assigned hotels
• Connect with global teams and any other relevant corporate teams to stay aligned with company direction, strategy, tools and ideas, providing your hotels with timely advice and opportunities to drive their business
• Lead and/or assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required

Direct Reports: no formal reporting line, but you will give specialist guidance to the Executives and Coordinators in the team
